Three school friends share a bond. They hate their mothers. Each wishes her mother was dead. But who hates enough to kill?

Four Letter Words opens with a murder but the reader doesn’t discover the identity of either the murdered or the murderer until the final pages. The story has three narrators - one of them is guilty - but no-one other than the reader is looking for a murderer. Their stories reveal both motivation and opportunity as the reader learns why BABY evolves into the most significant four letter word for all of them, as they struggle with issues such as sexual identity abortion, donor eggs and IVF. And murder.
